Bulky Crochet by Vickie Howell
Do you enjoy bulky crochet? What is the largest crochet hook you have ever crocheted with? I have a size U, but I have never actually used it to crochet with. I just love how it looks.
My sizes L and M hooks have seen good use combined with a nice bulky yarn. If you haven’t ventured to the larger end of your crochet hook set, get your L (8.00 mm) and check out the Echo Park Infinity Scarf by Vickie Howell.
This crochet infinity scarf is worked as a strip of chunky lace that is seamed end to end to create the infinity shape. Don’t forget to give this scarf a good blocking to open up the lace design. You will fall in love with the modern twist on a traditional fabric design. The blocking will also create a beautiful drape in this bulky crochet piece.
Let’s talk about that yarn. It’s gorgeous! The Echo Park Infinity Scarf is crocheted in HiKoo Kenzington Yarn. This yarn is a bulky-weight blend of merino wool, nylon, alpaca, and silk that creates a gorgeous tweedy texture and a chainette structure that “blooms” after blocking. Luxurious! And the colors are beautifully vibrant and perfect for bulky crochet.
We have kitted the Echo Park Infinity Scarf in two beautiful colors of Hikoo Kenzington. With each kit you will receive two skeins of yarn in either Boysenberry (purple) or Elegan (yellow/green) and the pattern for the infinity scarf.
Order your Echo Park Infinity Scarf in Boysenberry or Elegan before they are all gone.
