Basic Crochet Heart

Introduction

A simple heart in two rounds! Quick to work up, starting with a magic ring, and using a variety of stitches to form the heart shape.

You can add a length of chain to hang your heart up if you like 🙂

I’ve attached mine to the straps of my backpack.

Or you could decorate a gift with one of these hearts, too.

Materials List

I used a sport weight cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook for the heart you see here, but have worked this heart up successfully in all kinds of yarn, from thread to super bulky!
