A Hat in a Weekend
Last week I asked you which crochet hat I should make first. Thank you for all of your feedback! The clear favorite was the Lady Sybil Cloche, followed by the Bear Lake Hat. I love this hat too, and I think I have the perfect yarn for it.
But I just moved a couple of weeks ago, and the last room to be unpacked is the craft room. The yarn is in there-somewhere. I did find a gorgeous skein of Spud and Chloe fingering weight yarn in royal blue. And I had to crochet "right now." I'm sure you have all been there. So I decided to whip up the Cabled Spiral Hat.
This easy hat worked up quickly. In fact I finished it in just two days. After the fourteenth row, the pattern is a very simple row repeat-making it perfect for those evenings or weekends when you need a little fun mindless crochet.
Now I am headed into the craft room to search through my yarn stash for the perfect yarn for the Lady Sybil Cloche. I can't wait to show it to you next week.
P.S. What projects have you finished in a weekend?
