W.O.R.D.: Linda Peterson’s Version of Kassie Shaw’s Vortices Bracelet
Linda Peterson, a beader from Maine, submitted her version of Kassie Shaw’s Vortices Bracelet from the February/March 2017 issue of Beadwork, as seen here.
As a Beadwork subscriber for the past 20 years, Peterson has been able to spend more time with beading in the last several years since retiring. She is even selling her work on Etsy and at craft shows through United Maine Craftsman as Beadingbabes shop.
Q: Why did you choose this bracelet design and this color way?
A: The project appealed to me because of the swirling design. I chose my color ways because I wanted sparkle and yet have some color variation.
We love seeing how our published projects motivate readers to create their own variations. If you have a W.O.R.D. (What Our Readers Did) submission based on one of our published projects, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org and include “W.O.R.D.” in the subject line.
