Before we know it, snow will finally begin to melt and make way for a greener landscape. While winter is my favorite season, I am looking forward to warmer weather and newer trends as they arise. Last season, pearls and daisy chains took to the main stage for beading trends. As pearls are slowly beginning to take a step back from this trend spotlight, it was time for another round of trend research. Beaded jewelry is always on trend, but if you want to try something new or more up to date, here are some Spring 2023 beaded jewelry trends to try out this season.

Beaded Rope Style Jewelry

It’s time again to take something classic and revamp it in newer style. Beaded rope jewelry made with peyote stitch and kumihimo are becoming increasingly popular. I have seen this trend in the form of earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and even anklets. Many examples of rope-style jewelry stick to the trend of patterns and fun colors, incorporating both. Go to any craft market and I guarantee that you will see at least several bold pairs of earrings. Statement pieces will always be around, but now in addition to the statement necklaces so prominent last season, we are seeing statement earrings as well. These earrings can range from chandelier and fringed, to dangles with chunky beads. The options for this trend seem endless and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Do florals really ever go out of style? It’s guaranteed that every time spring comes back around, so will flowers, in more ways than one. For now, blooms are popping up in the form of flower shaped beads, floral motifs, and the prevalent daisy chain. This trend, like statement earrings, gives room for creativity for how the floral aspect is displayed. This makes it a fun trend to try, as there is a form everyone will enjoy.
