Southwest Meets Far East

This double strand bracelet screams SOUTHWEST while incorporating silver from the far east. The beautiful deep blue turquoise disk beads are from the Bisbee Mine in Arizona which has been closed since 1972. Very rare stuff. Just as rare and hard-to-find are the small green heishi beads of Australian gaspeite which flank beautiful sterling silver rondelles from Thailand. The second strand of this bracelet is made of stamped sterling silver oval chain which is interspersed with small nuggets of more Bisbee turquoise. Getting to the tail – it holds an artisan sterling silver Santa Fe style cross and a sterling silver Thunderbird charm from Santa Fe which are held to artisan silver links by silver twistie ties. Finishing it is a pyramid of orange spiney oyster. This bracelet closes with a sterling silver artisan southwest style toggle clasp.
