Seed Beads, Leather, Micro-Spikes and Eyelets Kit
This week marks one month in my journey as BeadingDaily’s online editor. It’s been a wonderful month and I’ve been overwhelmed with your warm reception. Thank you, all.
This month, it’s my honor to announce that I’ve been selected as Artist of the Month! What a great way to celebrate my new team at F+W and the wonderful people I’ve been blessed to work alongside the past 20+ years. Most importantly, I’m grateful for all the support and enthusiasm YOU have expressed in response to the designs and articles I’ve shared over these amazingly wonderful years. I’m fortunate to have the ability to share my passion and for the many people I get to share it with.
To show my appreciation, we’re kicking off the month with a new kit, available in limited quantity. The Riveted Leather Bracelet with Spike Fringe and Seed Bead bracelet kit comes complete with leather, seed beads, Crystaletts micro-spikes, Swarovski Greek cross, eyelet setting tool and anvil, the findings needed for finishing your designs and the video download. The bracelet is a combination of a peyote-stitched swatch made with frosted black seed beads and micro-spike fringe accents; leather with eyelets added for a professional finish as well as durability; bright silver findings for great contrast; and a Swarovski crystal Greek cross pendant. The kit and video package is an $80 value, available for $59.99, while supplies last.
I had a great time filming the video for this bracelet — the crew at the F+W studio are professional but also make filming a lot of fun! After filming, we compiled pictures taken while on set and some from behind the scenes. I thought it would be fun to share a few so you can see more of the experience not just the final, edited version of making the bracelet.
Love sharing a bit of fun from my recent filming! Thanks again for all your warm and welcome wishes, your notes, and for your support of the designs yet to come. At BeadingDaily.com we welcome your comments, notes on what you’d like to see us cover in the future, or pictures of designs you’ve made and would like to share.
Happy February and Happy Beading,
