New from Swarovski: Sparkling Beads, Pendants, Chatons, and More!

It’s always fun to take some time away from the office and head into New York City. It’s extra fun when this adventure includes stopping into Swarovski’s New York office and taking in their latest crystal innovations launch presentation! I got to do just that recently and I did it with friends who you might recognize!

You may have seen some of Sandra Lupo’s and Fernando DaSilva’s sparkling designs in our Fast & Fabulous section. Not only was it wonderful to have a day with these two, but they are the best people to take in the latest launch information with. We all love Swarovski crystal but these two are USCD–Uber Swarovski Crystal Designers. We had a ball and not only enjoyed being together in NYC, but we thoroughly enjoyed all the delicious sparkle the launch contained!

In summary, the theme for Swarovski’s Spring/Summer 2020 Innovations is on the Power of Emotions. There are four categories within the theme: The Serenity of Being, The Joy of Expression, The Surprise of the Unexpected, and The Excitement of Creativity. Within each category, there is a lot of new to love.

More Swarovski Highlights

This slideshow includes the “flags” which are masterpieces of collage. Each flag represents a category and inspires by showing ways the crystals, pearls, crystal mesh, chatons, flat backs, and all the other amazing Swarovski crystals can be used.

We were all taken by how many of the new pieces can be used in a very DIY way and how fashion also seemed to integrate this feeling. The two don’t usually come together so this is something we are all really, really excited about!
