New Beading Daily Bead-A-Long: Four Weeks of Beaded Bracelets!

It's been a while since we've had a Bead-A-Long here on Beading Daily, so I thought it would be fun to cook up a whole month's worth of beaded bracelets for your summer beading pleasure! Beaded bracelets are the perfect summertime beading project. They're portable, they work up fast, and they make great gifts. (I'm sure there's someone on your list who would love to receive one of these bracelets!)

Here's how it will work: each week, we'll make a new beaded bracelet project using off-loom bead-weaving stitches. The projects range in skill level from easy to more challenging, so it'll be a great way to learn some new beading skills. Don't feel obligated to make all four bracelets — but it might be fun to try!

I chose these bracelet making projects because you probably already have most of the beads (or very similar beads) in your stash. If not, now's the time to head over to your local bead shop and do a little shopping!

Week 1 (July 1-7): Who doesn't love a trip to the hardware store? Dulcey Heller turns rubber grommets from drab to fab with this brightly colored seed bead bracelet, Grommets Galore!
Week 2 (July 8-14): If you want to brush up on your brick stitch skills, Carol Dean Sharpe's Heart to Heart bracelet is the perfect beading project for you. It even features a brick stitch clasp!
Week 3 (July 15-21): What would summer be without a few brightly colored flowers? Lisa Kan's Petite Fiore Trellis Bracelet uses sparkling crystal beads and Charlottes to create a delicate floral bracelet.
Week 4 (July 22-28): Sometimes, girls just wanna have fun. Go casual with Ruth Ann Grim's Islander Bracelet. If you prefer more sparkle on your wrist, it's easy to change bead colors and substitute crystal or glass beads for the bone spacers!

The fun starts July 1, so head over to the Beading Daily shop and download your projects. You can find the entire list, along with links to the projects in the shop, on the Beading Daily Bead-A-Long page. Once you've finished your beaded bracelet for the week, take a great photograph and post it in the Reader Photo Galleries, tagged with BAL712 so we can find it! You might see one of your beaded creations featured in our Beading Daily Week In Review newsletter!
