Name That Bracelet and Win a Kit of Beading Supplies from The BeadSmith
Our Beading Challenge in the Beadwork June/July 2016 magazine features bracelet designs made using this “makes-me-hear-the-waves,” Mediterranean-inspired kit. This beading kit is filled with different types of beads and copper findings from The BeadSmith.
Included in this amazing kit: Khéops par Puca triangles, SuperDuos, True 2mm fire-polished rounds, size 6° seed beads, two colors of size 11 Beadsmith Unions seed beads, and a copper-plated toggle clasp.
Four readers participated and created beautiful designs using this kit. Here’s Barb Switzer’s design, which is up for the “Naming Challenge” this issue. Name Barb’s bracelet for a chance to win The BeadSmith kit!
Here’s what Barb had to say about using the jewelry-making supplies in the kit: “The subdued color palette with metallic highlights strongly appealed to me, and I was excited for an opportunity to work with the Khéops par Puca triangles. My finished design reminds me of a meandering yet still orderly path through a garden in the spring, when everything is fresh and green.”
Want to win your very own kit of beads and beading supplies like the one Barb used to create her bracelet? Think of a great name for this beaded bracelet, then share your idea in the comments on this Beading Daily blog post by June 3, 2016 at 11:59 CT. The editors of Beadwork magazine will choose their favorite from the list, and the winner will receive their own kit of beads from The BeadSmith.
Have fun with this one and good luck!
