Name That Bracelet and Win a Kit of Beading Supplies from Potomac Bead Company
Our Beading Challenge in the February/March 2016 issue of Beadwork magazine features a fun kit from Potomac Bead Company that includes several proprietary products, such as RounDuo beads, cup buttons, and Potomac crystal rondelles, as well as Czech donut beads, faceted jade rondelles, and a silver-plated bezel.
Editor Melinda Barta had the opportunity to play with this kit, and here’s the cute bracelet she created!
Here’s what Melinda had to say about using this kit: “This kit provided a great mix of both common and shaped beads. Although I wasn’t able to incorporate the bezel into my bracelet design, I was able to use a bit of everything else, plus a clasp from my bead stash. The two-hole RounDuos provided the perfect start to my circular component and were very easy to embellish with rounds of peyote stitch and netting. Before closing the final round of the component, I placed a cup bead embellished with a jade rondelle inside the center.”
Want to win your very own kit of beads and beading supplies like the one Melinda used to create her bracelet? Think of a great name for this beaded bracelet, and tell us what it is in a comment on this Beading Daily blog before February 22, 2016 at 12 midnight CT.
