Behind the Beads

The Museum of Beadwork aims to house the finest examples of contemporary beaded art while exploring the cultural and artistic significance of beadwork throughout history. A fascinating part of their mission is focusing on revealing the connections between people through trade, migration, and cultural influence. One of the goals is for the beading community to build relationships and strengthen understanding of different cultures.

The exhibitions present information on different beadwork styles from across the world, historic development of beads in human history, and modern bead making. There is also a classroom area that will host workshops, classes, and events.
