Motivation Monday: Send Us Your Inspirational Beading Story
Inspiring Beading Stories
What gets you motivated on a Monday? Is it the fresh start to a new week? A massive to-do list that you didn’t finish the previous week? Or just an inner drive that inspires you to push forward? Beaders, like all creative types, are constantly looking for new inspiration. We recently celebrated two decades of inspiring beaders, with the publication of Beadwork magazine’s 20th issue. As part of this celebration, we’re inviting our readers to share their inspirational stories. Our first inspirational beading story is about one of our contributors, Agnieszka Watts.
To read Agnieszka Watts’s inspirational story and learn how she has used beading to help cope with severe hearing loss, check out her “Cinderella story” in the December 2016/January 2017 issue of Beadwork. We’re so happy that Agnieszka has been able to communicate with others through her beading—and we think you’ll agree that her gorgeous work demands to be “heard.” (Watch for more of Agnieszka’s fantastic designs in upcoming issues of Beadwork!)
Have an inspiring beading story to share? We would love to hear from YOU, too! How has beading changed your life? How have you used beading to change someone else’s life? Or what other inspirational story related to beading do you have to share? Please send your story (300 words or less) to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will publish one beading story in each issue of Beadwork throughout 2017. If your story is selected, we will notify you by email and will ask for photos of you, your beading projects, your workspace, etc.
