Learn How to Make Beaded Lace Jewelry With Seed Beads!

My very first original beaded jewelry design was inspired by a Victorian-era seed pearl necklace. When I was finished, I realized that it resembled a sort of beaded lace, similar to some of the designs I'd seen in my mother's collection of 1920s needlework magazines.

So I tried, for many years, to re-create the look of lace using my seed beads, but never really figured out how to capture that light, graceful look of knitted or crocheted lace. And one of the reasons why I love the beading designs of Cynthia Newcomer Daniel so much is because she has mastered the technique of capturing that look of beaded lace using seed beads and crystals.

Now you can learn from Cynthia how to adapt traditional off-loom bead-weaving stitches to create fabulous, elegant beaded lace jewelry in a live webinar, Beaded Lace: How to Make Gorgeous Beaded Lace with Seed Beads and Your Favorite Off-loom Bead-weaving Stitches. Beginning with an understanding of traditional lace-making techniques and structures, Cynthia will expand upon these themes to show us how we can create our own lacy beaded jewelry using off-loom bead-weaving stitches and our favorite beading supplies.

Creating beaded lace jewelry that can hold up over repeated wears is also a concern for many beaders, and Cynthia will cover her tried-and-true techniques for making beaded lace jewelry that won't fall apart after just one or two wears. So not only will your beaded lace jewelry become a family heirloom, with proper care, it will last a lifetime! (Or longer!)
