Jewelry with a Bohemian Twist

One trend that has proven to be long-lasting is Bohemian style jewelry. We have seen many beautiful pieces of jewelry created using boho elements (natural stones, leather, ribbons, tassels, charms, etc.), and we just can’t get enough! Maybe it’s the way these pieces make us feel like free spirits, or the effortless air about them, but something about this style is terrifically timeless.

Some of my favorite Boho pieces from Jewelry Stringing Spring 2013 and quotes from designers

Lorelei Eurto and Erin Siegel.

The thing about making jewelry that appears effortless, however, is that it isn’t always effortless! Perfectly capturing a certain style can be a lot more difficult than you may think! I often come across this dilemma and find that there’s just something a little “off” about my final product.. like I didn’t quite hit the nail on the head! When hoping to capture a new style of jewelry it’s important to do your research before you start designing.. take advantage of your resources! If the Bohemian style is something that tickles your free spirited fancy, take a peek at this Bohemian Jewelry Ultimate Collection kit, available at the It will supply you with all the information and materials needed to start creating Bohemian style jewelry, including one book, one magazine, one eBook, one on-demand webinar, and one set of materials by Ornamentea. So let loose, get inspired, and start beading bohemian! 🙂
