Impressionist Water Lily Earrings

Part of the fun as a designer is finding the occasional one of a kind piece and designing around it. I picked up these locally handmade pewter water lily beads last summer, and this srping, made a Monet painting of them. I mixed them with Czech Picasso glass rondelles, frosted Tohos, and handmade borosilicate Unicorne beads for the mix of splashed colors and finishes that one finds in Monet's paintings.

These earrings were designed to be sold as a fundraiser for my friend Pastor Jo Tipple's C2C bicylce ride across North America this year for poverty alleviation.
