Fun Summer Projects: Beadwork June/July
The June/July 2015 issue of Beadwork magazine hit the newsstands last week, and this is one fabulous issue that you won’t want to miss!
This issue starts our new four-part Pattern Play series, focusing on designs from Carole E. Hanley. Each bracelet in this series works up quickly, using a combination of ladder stitch and brick stitch and an array of cylinder beads in fun colors and inventive patterns.
We also continue our new Quick & Easy department in this issue; this department is aimed at beginning beaders or those who are looking for a fast and fabulous project. This issue’s Quick & Easy project is Abigail Myer’s Raindrops Bracelet, which is so cute that you’ll want to make it in multiple colors. (See the June/July 2015 Beadwork issue page online for alternate colorway material lists.)
Another big plus of the June/July issue is that we have TWO kits for sale! See page 52 for Michelle Gowland’s fabulous Pharaoh’s Finery Bracelet instructions, and buy the Pharaoh’s Finery Bracelet kit online (temporarily sold out, so you’ll want to reserve your kit ASAP!).
Or see page 48 for Megan Milliken’s “O” So Charming Bracelet (made only with seed beads and O beads), and get the “O” So Charming Bracelet kit for the pink/brass colorway online.
Summer hasn’t quite arrived in Beadwork‘s home state of Colorado yet, but the June/July issue promises some bright and sunny projects for your summer beading enjoyment! Buy a print copy of June/July 2015 Beadwork or download the digital edition. Or better yet, subscribe to Beadwork magazine today!
