Free Beaded Earring Project: Endless Summer Earrings

Here’s what you need and how to make this free beaded earring project!

Materials

70 of five colors of 11/0 glass seed beads

40” length of .015” diameter silver color Beadalon 19

10 crimp beads

4x2mm antique pewter crimpable cord ends

2 niobium French hook ear wires

Tools

Flat-nose pliers

Wire cutters

Thrifty Tip: This is the perfect project for using leftover seed beads. Look for seed-beaded bracelets or necklaces at your local thrift store and deconstruct them to reuse the beads!

Endless Summer Beaded Earring Project Instructions

Cut ten 4” lengths of beading wire.

String 2” of seed beads (about 35 beads) onto the center of a wire.

Hold the wires together and pass them through a crimp bead.

Adjust the loop to about 3” and use flat-nose pliers to flatten the crimp.

Use wire cutters to cut the extra wire.

Repeat Steps 2-5 to make two beaded loops of each color.

Stack one of each color beaded loops, hold them together, and place the ends inside a cord end.

Use flat-nose pliers to squeeze the cord end so the wire ends are secured inside.

Open the loop on an ear wire and attach it to the loop on the cord end.

Repeat Steps 7-9 to make a matching earring.
