Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out the ideal gift for the moms in your life. Flowers are always a safe bet and are guaranteed to be a hit, but why give your mom flowers when you can give her floral jewelry that will last forever? Here are some of my favorite floral beaded jewelry patterns that make the perfect gift for the motherly figure(s) in your life.

Dimensional Florals

Parade of Daisies Necklace beading pattern by Alice Haron

Parade of Daisies Necklace

Daisies are a spring staple, so why not wear them around your neck? Alice Haron’s Parade of Daisies necklace is a greatly elevated version of the popular daisy chain. This beaded necklace comes together using various stitch techniques for all its components. While the ends of the necklace strands feature pearls, you can easily use discduos as a substitute.

For this project, Alice recommends using a beige colored nylon thread, so the stitches are invisible.

Mountain Lily Cuff

If your mom is a fan of lilies, Agnieszka Watts’ Mountain Lily Cuff is the perfect gift. This three-dimensional cuff is made using tubular diagonal peyote stitch and herringbone stitch. Two zig-zag cuffs overlap with unique layering and are connected before the beaded lily is added. This project is easy to customize to the wearer’s preferences; stitch just one cuff layer or even by add more than one lily to the bracelet. Agnieszka gives tips on how to modify the size of the flower as well, if that’s something you’d like to try to alter.

Breezy Blossoms Bracelet

Bracelets always remind me of spring. It’s the perfect time to show off eye-catching designs with short sleeves! The Breezy Blossoms bracelet, designed by Valerie Felcetto, has several color variations. There is something for any mother’s taste. Picots and peyote and herringbone stitches to form floral bezels around crystal chatons that are connected using right-angle weave.

Crystal bicones add sparkle—you can even use 4mm crystal bicones instead of 3mm for extra shine.

A Quick Stitch

Sundial Earrings beading pattern by Breanna Garcia

Sundial Earrings

When it comes to accessories, my mom most often wears earrings. The Sundial Earrings by Breanna Garcia are quick to make and the end result is a beautiful pair of studs that look great with any outfit. These earrings are made using a variation of right-angle weave and circular peyote stitch. It’s very easy to modify the colors to your mother’s liking in this project.

Before tightening your stitches on the dragon scale beads, Breanna says to make sure they’re pointing upward!

Floret Earrings

The Floret Earrings, designed by Tina Hauer, are the perfect spring accessory. These earrings use circular peyote stitch and are very quick to complete if you’re in need of a last-minute yet lovely project. The gold seed beads give a chain effect to the earrings, while the SuperDuos portray flower petals. If you’re not a fan of the exposed outside holes of the SuperDuos, Tina gives tips for how you can easily conceal them.

While I’m a sucker for a good bouquet of flowers, they never last for as long as I’d like them to (and my cat enjoys them a little too much). This year for Mother’s Day, try beading your mom her new favorite flower to last a lifetime with one of these fun floral beaded jewelry patterns. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
