Fall 2022 Color Trends for Beaders

It is totally normal to fall into a rut when choosing colors for your beading projects. Maybe you love bead weaving with black or turquoise, or you lean toward rainbow-inspired hues (and who could blame you?). But discovering new color palettes infuses new energy into your beadwork. Naturally, in autumn, finding color inspiration is as easy as looking outside.

Here are some Fall 2022 trending color palettes we love for this season, and some inspiration to put them to use in your beadwork.

Inspired by Nature

Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute says, “As we move forward into an environment filled with contradiction, hues for Autumn/Winter 2022/2023 enable consumers to move fluidly between a range of contrasting shades, allowing them to spontaneously express who they are and how they feel on any given day.” She emphasizes the spectrum of restful colors and exuberant tones.

In case you were thinking that fall colors include only shades of orange, green, and brown, look at the shades of pink and aqua. Any of the colors shown here could easily appear in your bead box and your next beaded creation.

Leaves and Flowers
