Fall for Autumn 2022 Beaded Jewelry Trends

Taking a look at jewelry trends is the perfect way to embrace the change of the season. In anticipation of autumn and a desire to keep my style up-to-date, I’ve spent hours combing through Pinterest, Instagram, runway photos, and even TikTok (you’re welcome) to find my favorite beaded jewelry inspiration. Here are just a few of the Fall 2022 beaded jewelry trends you will want to incorporate into your fall beading projects and wardrobe.

Fringed Earrings

To start off, earrings have always been my favorite accessory. Fringed beaded earrings are everywhere this season, in one color or many hues, in every style and design motif. Including Halloween ghosts! This is a great trend to try out since you can customize the earrings to suit your style. Make a pair of Diamond Fringed Earrings and get creative with fringe!

Beaded Daisy Chains

When I was scrolling through Pinterest, I saw a large variety of necklaces using daisy chain stitch. I haven’t seen these types of necklaces, bracelets, and rings since I was a child, so am happy to see them in action again. Daisy chains are popping up in a variety of unexpected colors, with some resembling fall leaves and others in neutral palettes. This is a fast stitch to learn and is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.

Simple Strands

Pearls never go out of style, but they’re having a moment in the spotlight. Freshwater pearls and saltwater pearls can be combined and connected with golden chains to create a choker or collar length necklace. Pearls are also being combined with brightly-colored beads inspired by the ’90s and early 2000s, making for a unique twist on classic pearl jewelry designs.

Chunky necklaces are in, especially if they are simple strands of similar beads. Think about combining beads from the same color scheme in a variety of sizes. Place the largest bead in the center and create a basic graduated strand with the smallest beads at the ends. Simplicity is the key, and for a high-fashion inspired look, large pearls are a must!
