Beadwork Name the Bracelet Challenge
The Name the Bracelet Challenge Is On!
Glass Garden Beads assembled a beautiful, seed bead and bead-dangle worthy kit for the December 2016/January 2017 Beadwork, Name the Bracelet Challenge. The kit includes: seed beads, daggers, cubes, fire-polished rounds, bell flowers, Swarovski pearls, crystal bicones, silver chain and findings.
THE RULES: We use our favorites from the materials in the kit and, where necessary, round out projects with our own supplies.
Leave a comment with your choice of a name for the lovely design by midnight 12/16/2016. A winner will be determined and posted back here on this page soon after. You will be contacted if your name is selected!
The bracelet needing a name is by Melinda Barta, former editor for Beadwork magazine.
Melinda shares: “I love making wrapped-loop dangles with head pins, so this kit gave me a great opportunity to pull out my wireworking tools. The oval links of the chain are easy to separate, making great spacer fillers between my beaded components. I’m known to dwell on color choices, but the seed bead mix made this project truly quick and easy to make!”
Be sure to check out the Beadwork issue for our reader-submitted designs.
