7 Things to Love about August/September Beadwork

Making beaded jewelry is one of the most meditative crafts I know of. Stitch by stitch, we become absorbed in our own world and emerge with beautifully inspired jewelry components. And while the August/September Beadwork issue is full of 28 stunning projects to motivate you to Zen out, I’ve made a list of seven things that I think you’ll find truly inspiring.

7 Things to Love about August/September Beadwork

1. I love the architectural complexity of the Moroccan Lantern Pendant by Designer of the Year Melissa Grakowsky Shippee, with its unique mix of beads forming a standout piece of jewelry.
