Yoga-mat carrier
Weave structure: plain weave.
Equipment: 2-shaft or 4-shaft loom, 33" weaving width; 8-dent reed; 1 shuttle, 3 bobbins.
Warp: 5/2 pearl cotton (2,100 yd/lb), Black #7, 1,056 yd.
Weft: 5/2 pearl cotton (2,100 yd/lb), Black #7, 311 yd; Purple #27 and Special Turq #44, 145 yd each.
Yarn sources: 5/2 UKI pearl cotton is available from most weaving retailers.
Finished dimensions: fabric 29" x 33" for a yoga-mat carrier 11" x 26-1/2" with an over-the-shoulder strap.

Soft-fulled wool bag with handles
Weave structure:
plain weave with warp floats.
Equipment: 8-shaft loom, 25" weaving width; 10-dent reed; 1 shuttle.
Warp: 18/2 merino wool (5,040 yd/lb) Garnet, 605 yd; Iris, Ruby, Fuchsia, Raspberry, and Real Red, 120 yd each.
Weft: 8/2 worsted wool (2,240 yd/lb, Heather), Redwood, 1,000 yd.
Notions and other materials:
1/2 yd cotton lining fabric, 8" x 8" fusible interfacing, matching sewing thread.
Yarn sources: JaggerSpun 18/2 Superfine merino and worsted Heather wool are available from most weaving retailers.
Finished dimensions: fabric about 18" x 45" for one bag 7" x 17" x 7"; expect 25% shrinkage in width, 16% in length.

Weave structure:
plain weave.
Equipment: 2-shaft or 4-shaft loom, 20" weaving width; 12-dent reed; 1 shuttle.
Warp: 5/2 pearl cotton (2,100 yd/lb), Quarry #147 (or other dark gray or gray violet), 480 yd.
Weft: Recycled handspun silk (about 400 yd/lb), 413 yd.
Yarn sources: 5/2 UKI pearl cotton is available from most weaving retailers. Recycled handspun silk yarn (Kathmandu Bathed) in 200 g skeins at 160–190 yd/skein is available from The Wool Peddler.
Finished dimensions: amounts produce one tote 13" x 13" x 4" and one notebook cover 6-3/4" (closed) 14-5/8" (open) x 9".

Echo-weave scarf
Weave structure:
Interlocking twill.
Equipment: 8-shaft loom, 12" weaving width; 12-dent reed; 1 shuttle.
Warp: 8/2 Tencel (3,360 yd/lb), Blue Purple, 674 yd; 10/2 pearl cotton (4,200 yd/lb), Porcelain Green, 677 yd.
Weft: 8/2 Tencel (3,360 yd/lb), Sienna, 652 yd.

Finished dimensions: After washing, amounts produce one scarf 10-1/2" x 61" plus 4-1/2" fringe at each end.

Tabby weft: 10/2 Soy Silk (4,300 yd/lb), natural, 334 yd.
Variegated pastel pattern weft: 10/2 Soy Silk (4,300 yd/lb) used doubled, handpainted (Waiting for the Sun), 83 yd.
Blue pattern weft: 100% bamboo yarn (2,100 yd/lb) Bambu 7, Chagall Blue #297, (2,100 yd/lb), 40 yd.
Deep purple pattern weft: Hempathy (34% hemp, 41% cotton, 25% Modal; 1,390 yd/lb), color #012, 40 yd. Warp and tabby weft for the purple bag are handpainted (FM Radio) 10/2 Soy Silk.
Variegated rose pattern weft: TOFUtsies sock yarn (50% Superwash wool, 25% Soy Silk, 22-1/2% cotton, 2-1/2% chitin; 2,120 yd/lb) #733 Get Your Feet Wet, 40 yd.

Weave structure:
plain weave with floats.
Equipment: 4" x 6" and 2" x 2" Weavette or similar loom (Buxton Brook Looms); weaving needle.
Yarn: Darice Metallic cord or other yarn about 800 yd/lb (in 27 yd skeins from Michael’s, 35 yd/bag); sewing needle; matching sewing thread.
Finished dimensions: bags 4" x 6" with strap.

Weave structure:
a variation of warp rep.
Equipment: 2- or 4-shaft loom, 14" weaving width (small bag), 18" (large bag); 12-dent reed; 2 boat shuttles, 1 ski shuttle
Warp: 3/2 pearl cotton (1,260 yd/lb).
For small bag, gold (Zinnia #4146) and purple (Eggplant #6256), 210 yd) each. For large bag, turquoise (Algiers Blue #2194) and purple (Eggplant #6256), 324 each.
Thin weft: 3/2 pearl cotton (1,260 yd/lb). For small bag, 75 yd purple, 16 yd gold. For large bag, 137 yd purple, 20 yd turquoise.
Rag weft: 45" fabric cut into 1-1/2" strips; for small bag, 2-1/2 yd; for large bag, 4 yd.
