Throw on the Yorkshire Capeletwhenever it gets a bit chilly and features raglan increases for a better fit. This shawl is worked from the top down and features German short rows to help create its curved shape.\Finished Size: 20¼ " neck circumference, 95½ " circumference at lower edge, 13" tall at center front, and 19¾ " tall at center back.
Yarn: Baa Ram Ewe Dovestone DK (50% blue-faced Leicester, 25% Wensleydale longwool, 25% dark brown Masham; 252 yd [230 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): Goathland, 4 skeins.
Needles: Sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 9 (5.5 mm): 40" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); removable m; size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook; tapestry needle; six ¾ " wooden buttons
Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows = 4" in Cell st on smaller needle.
