Sandra 9/12/2017awesome video and well informed.
Sheri 8/6/2017Can't wait to try a brooch or necklace of my own!!
Ailanna 7/11/2017Though I have been doing Kumihimo for quite awhile, I love to watch the experts and learn some new ways to make my pieces. From this video, I learned some new techniques to finish and add endcaps. Jill is an excellent teacher, and I would recommend her to someone wanting to learn how to add beads.
Kirsten H. 6/23/2017I know now how to do Judy's magic cast on
Monika 4/6/2017"Great tutorial. Even though I already know Kumihimo, Jill had some tips and tricks that were new to me. Jill is an excellent teacher and I enjoy her videos very much. Thank you so very much.

Marianne 7/6/2019excellent and informative video, nice project!
Linda 4/8/2019This is a lot of information covered very well with lots of detail.
Colleen 1/2/2019"Exellent DVD!! Jillian`s oveview of the differet types of batts, how to prepare the batts for spinning and how to spin was very informative.
Perfect for what I needed. Quality of DVD very good!"
Diane 1/1/2019great lesson. Just one more thing, How to do I finish the edges?
Denise 10/2/2018This instructor is fantastic
Mary 9/28/2018Loved it wow eye opening
Linda 9/5/2018During the video, Ms van der Hoogt says she will also be showing how to warp the loom from back to front, but this doesn't happen. Nothing in the description indicates that this is a multipart video and that one would need to purchase additional videos.
Clarissa 8/25/2018Very good. Better camera work needed when instructor was demonstrating how to join two ends.
Lisa 5/24/2018Sarah Anderson does it again ! I never had an interest in spinning novelty yarns before this class. The yarns Sarah proved possible were lovely ,interesting and absolutely worth hand spinning. A step beyond to explore whats possible with thinking beyond what my comfort zone was . Excellent .
Lisa 5/24/2018I LOVED this class . Sarah Anderson is in my opinion, one of the very best teachers . Shes able to explain and demonstrate with clarity , making it easy to recall long after the class and incorporate her advice and ideas into ones own spinning. There was so much content that Id not known ,ie spinning cotton, salvaging fleece... Creative , inspiring time well spent !
Lisa 5/23/2018informative, a clear , down to earth look at the facts involved with those of us thinking of selling our handspun yarn. I highly recommend watching for anyone , but especially those who are new to selling handmade items. I've had experience with doing so and wish this had been available back then :) Turning something you do for the joy of it can be very different when doing it with a price tag attached . Many ways to approach marketing your skill if you choose not to sell the actual spun product ... Thanks for another great video !
Lisa 5/21/2018"Clear with good suggestions for making a well done sample card . I'm not a new spinner and I did choose to spin/dye my first project for a large plaid woven blanket (including the warp-LOL!) My teacher thankfully didnt discourage me.
I think this is a good class for spinners who are hesitant to use their handspun. Particularly , spinners who think the inconsistent yarn cant turn out a great project. Her suggestion to assertively wash the sample is smart- magic things happen with good finishing. thumbs up on storage bobbins as well - thanks , enjoyed the class :)Perhaps some more on join options ...."
Lisa 4/15/2018Judith MacKenzie was a fabulously interesting and knowledgeable instructor . Her passion for what she does was apparent and her ideas appealing . My own ideas were sparked by her prompts, and examples. I love to dye yarn , but I also am intrigued by the concept of making new colors with existing colors . Very much like one would use layering techniques with colored pencils ! Yarn that would have been tragically tossed became gorgeous tweed .. Pure magic . Thank you !!
Camille 4/6/2018Wonderful. I had no Idea you could add stones in this way. Can't wait to try it.
Carol 3/27/2018Good video. she didn't show a demo of using torch as I thought she mentioned in overview. Also, would be helpful if she shared what gauge metal she was working with. thanks
Sharon 2/9/2018Excellent easy to follow
Laura 2/7/2018I learned hoe to spin cotton a few years ago from stephenie gaustad and needed a refresh - i love her technical yet enthusiastic teaching style and will be referencing this video probably forever
Mary 1/25/2018Excellent video but I want to watch it again, and that is not easy
Renee 1/22/2018Excellent video, Thank you. Renee
Anne 1/20/2018Loved this. Very clear instructions
Bridget 10/21/2017very clear instruction.
Kirsten 10/16/2017This helped with not only seeing possibilities but also with how to successfully spin very short fibers.
Kirsten 10/16/2017I wound Improve on this course. I would like to see it expanded. I would like to hear Kate's methods for blending fibers to create specific effects, and on finishing non wool fibers or wool/non wool fibers to create different knittable yarn. OR I would appreciate a similar video that looks at spinning for other applications such as weaving. I realize that there are videos on these topics but I particularly appreciate the way she explains what she is doing and exactly how that will affect her fiber.
Bridget 10/15/2017Excellent! The warping method is especially helpful as well as the designing instructions. This video delivered what it promised.
Marianne 10/14/2017No negative issues here. Kate is the master of these beautiful earring projects!
Bob 10/13/2017Excellent for the beginner ! Clear, concise, easy to follow. Great teacher/Weaver.
Lesley 10/5/2017This was great! really informative. Thank you!
Anne 10/1/2017Lots of good info and explanation of how to spin different fibers for different uses/purposes. Easy to follow & understand even for novice.
Lesley 9/24/2017This was great! Very technical and informative. I would love to see more videos like this where the teacher is digging in to the deep end of the learning curve. Sara is pleasing to listen to, this was great! I will go back and listen again because the information on twist differences is hard to grasp... I need to hear it a few times. Thank you!
Anna 9/6/2017Thank you it's very good
Katherine 9/1/2017Very informative! I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the links did not work for the ebook and the course worksheet.
Joy 8/17/2017Amazing and inspirational video great teacher I have the jewel loom and am now doing wonderful projects and teaching it in my on art studio Thanks Jlianna Joy
