Finished Size: About 8X (9, 9V)” (22 [23, 24] cm) foot circumference and 8 (8X, 9W)” (20.5 [22, 23.5] cm) long from back of heel to tip of toe. To fit women’s U.S. shoe sizes 6-7V (women’s U.S. shoe sizes 8-9V, women’s U.S. shoe sizes 10-11).
Yarn: Fingering weight (Super Fine #1) Shown here: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Lightweight (100% merino; 360 yd [329 m]/128 g): Blarney Stone, 1 (2, 2) skeins.
Needles: U.S. size 1 (2.25 mm): straight or circular plus set of 5 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Waste yarn; B/1 (2.25 mm) crochet hook; 2 markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 16 stitches and 23 rows = 2″ (5 cm) in stockinette stitch worked in rows.
