Description
Stir some color into your socks with this graphic pattern ideal for practicing your stranded-colorwork skills. With a four-stitch repeat, floats of unused color extend no more than three stitches, making it easy to manage tension and achieve a perfect fit. Experiment with colors from across the visible spectrum to make spectacular socks.
Finished Size: 6½ (7½, 8½)” (16.5 [19, 21.5] cm) foot circumference and 8¾ (9, 10)” (22 [23, 25.5] cm) long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure

Yarn: Cascade Yarns Heritage (75% superwash Merino, 25% nylon; 437 yd [400 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #5630 anis (MC), #5610 camel (CC1), and #5618 snow (CC2), 1 skein each.
Needles: Cuff, heel and foot-U.S. size 1 (2.25 mm). Cuff edging and leg-U.S. size 2 (2.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 32 sts and 41 rnds = 4″ (10 cm) in charted patt on larger needles; 34 sts and 44 rnds = 4″ (10 cm) in charted patt on smaller needles.
