A pearl solitaire has always been the definition of elegance. This pearl sits within a delicately woven bezel. A butane torch is used to ball the ends, but you could easily just make simple loops to finish the wires, if you didn't want to use a torch.

  • 10mm pearl bead
  • 16-gauge dead soft copper wire, 1¾'
  • 26-gauge dead soft copper wire, 5¼'
  • 28-gauge dead soft copper wire, 3¼'
  • Round-nose pliers
  • Bent chain-nose pliers
  • Flush cutters
  • Metal file
  • Ring mandrel
  • Large needle
  • Butane micro torch
  • Soldering brick
  • Pickle
  • Pickle pot
  • Copper tongs
  • Liver of sulfur (optional)
  • Metal lacquer (optional)
