Painter's Thread Collection Silk Hankie - Georgia
Painter's Thread Collection - Silk Hankies are made of one Silk cocoon. A cooked cocoon is carefully opened at one end and then stretched over the hand, or a frame, into a square. Suitable for extremely thin paper with an interesting structure made by the thicker edge of the hankie. It can be easily spun by hand to make a knobbly embroidery thread that looks great with woven stitches. Silk Hankies can be needle-felted by hand or machine, which allows the "Painters" colours to look their best.
