Making More Needle-Felting Magic: New Techniques Creative Projects
If you feel like you've seen it all when it comes to needle felting, pick up a copy of fiber artist Margo Duke's latest book.
Rather than adhere to a single method, Duke combines three typically distinct techniques: free-motion stitching, wet felting, and machine needle felting. Don't worry if you aren't particularly familiar with needle felting and wet felting; this book includes an overview of necessary materials (as well as a helpful list of resources) to get you started. Duke also includes detailed instructions for eight whimsical, nature-inspired projects, including a shoulder bag and cardigan pockets. In addition, one chapter is devoted to directions for creating a wide variety of felted flowers, versatile little embellishments that will make any of your projects unique.
