Designer Faye Kennington found an eagle feather on the beach one day and for several months thereafter dreamed of creating cabled feather motifs. This blanket perfectly (and dramatically) showcases the feather stitch pattern. It’s just the right size for an extra layer of warmth on bed or couch.

Finished Size: 45″ wide and 56″ long.
Yarn: Berroco Comfort Chunky (50% nylon, 50% acrylic; 150 yd [138 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #5771 driftwood heather, 11 balls.
Needles: Size 10½ (6.5 mm): 47″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); cable needle; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 14 sts and 18 rows = 4″ in rev St st.
