The challenge in giving jewelry the rich color and luster of gold is simple: the high price of that precious metal. The way to meet the challenge is also simple: use gold sparingly and to maximum effect. Called keum boo, the traditional Korean technique of applying fine or nearly fine gold foil onto silver is an excellent way to accomplish this. Learn this relatively easy technique and boost your fabrication and finishing skills when you create these gorgeous earrings!
