Mix argentium silver and metal clay into a fabulous ring design. Custom create a showpiece center accent with unique texture that only metal clay can provide. Balanced with a double ring band, this is a completely original project that will boost your skills and yield a striking ring design unlike any you’ve seen.

Required Materials:

6 inches 12-gauge Argentium® round wire
10 grams metal clay
Art Clay overlay paste
Syringe metal clay

TOOLS

SOLDERING: Large butane torch, yellow flux, charcoal block, quench and pickle, tweezers
FORMING: Steel ring mandrel, rawhide or plastic mallet, bench pin
HAND: Jeweler’s saw, 3/0 saw blade, needle file (coarse) or rotary tool with separating disks, chain nose pliers
FINISHING: Baking soda, brass brush, mild soap, sandpaper: 330 & 400 grit
METAL CLAY: Circle template (7⁄8- inch), 1.5 mm thickness guides, 1 mm thickness guides, clay shaping tool, fine paintbrush, curved drying surface
