Interweave Knits Summer 2015
Interweave Knits Summer explores knits for the well-made life.
The summer issue of Interweave Knits looks to the woods, the fields, and the home with projects that run the gamut from quick to epic with 20+ knitting patterns. We look at the intersection of knitting and The Great Outdoors with projects for summer recreation and stories from knitters who hike, camp, cycle, and more. Then turn inwards with home décor projects and a tutorial on making braided "rag" rugs with I-cord and sock yarn. Also, we visit the historic Harrisville Designs mill; take a look at new linen blends; and learn about woolen-spun yarns.

- Patterns Need Clearer Instructions
- I purchased the magazine for the Cottage Baby Blanket pattern, which is so beautiful. But the instructions are woefully lacking., about 3 short paragraphs by my count. If you haven't previously knit a counterpane blanket, then in addition to the magazine you will need to purchase a counterpane book for instructions. (Posted on 8/30/2015)
- Fantastic to braid using I-cord!
I have inherited some lovely wool braided rugs. What a shake-up to echo this with I-cord! Nothing like seeing the same thing through new perspectives.
