Every fiber artist accumulates leftover yarn and fabric. Many wonder “What should I do with these leftover materials?” Making jewelry from leftover materials is a great way to use them to quickly create art to wear or sell.


With a few simple tools and a little imagination, Robyn will introduce you to a few basic jewelry-making tools and guide you through basic jewelry-making techniques to learn to easily transform leftover yarn and fabric into different types of jewelry using traditional and non-traditional jewelry findings.

Instructor

Master weaver and fiber artist, Robyn Spady, learned to weave in 1969 and has been going strong ever since. This has led to the accumulation of a lot of leftover yarn and fabric. In 2004, Robyn started employing simple jewelry techniques to transform her leftover materials into jewelry to wear and sell. In this web seminar, she will share with you her favorite techniques to get you started on making jewelry from your leftover yarn and fabric.
