Create soft and draped fabric from woolen-spun yarn with the Hamshire Shawl. This crescent-shaped lace shawl is worked on large needles, to keep it from being too thick, and in two colors to give the fabric a rippling effect.

Finished Size: 59" wide and 24" deep
Yarn: Harrisville Designs WATERshed (100% virgin wool; 110 yd [101 m]/ 1¾ oz [50 g]): #945 Farwell (MC), 5 skeins; #955 meadows (CC), 1 skein.
Needles: Size 10 (6 mm): 40" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 11 sts and 20 rows = 4" in St st.
