Yarn: Harrisville Designs Shetland (100% wool; 217 yd [198 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): #56 jade (MC) and #38 teak (CC), 1 skein each.
Yarn Weight: #1 - Super Fine
Needles: Size 2 (2.75 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); tapestry needle; fresh balsam fir or other fragrant evergreen needles.
Gauge: 26 st-pairs and 36 rnds = 4" in double knitting patt.
