- Excellent tutorial
- I found this helpful and easy to follow. While I was already familiar with how to weave using the three techniques, I learned more about when and why to use them from Sara's comments comparing them. (Posted on 11/3/2015)
- Another excellent video from Sara Bixler
- Creative Weaving: Leno Lace is another really excellent instructional video presentation from Sara Bixler. I think I have all of her rigid heddle videos and all are superb. Her instructions are clear. The videography is really well done. In short, her video series is like nothing else out there for rigid heddle weavers. I highly recommend her technique presentations. - Informative and Clear
Sara Bixler is an excellent weaving instructor! Her explanations and examples of Leno Lace were easy to follow and understand. She showed just enough examples to help me work on my technique on my own loom while watching her, something that is very helpful to me.
I also appreciated her information, things like the fact that lace draws a warp in and it's just going to happen and why.
I will watch for more videos from Sara. I'd really like to watch her warp a multi-shaft table loom, for example and show her tips and tricks for doing so. Also, if she combines hand manipulation with a more sophisticated weave structure, like 4 or 8 shafts. That would also be very interesting. (Posted on 9/7/2015)
