Get ready to embark on a journey filled with ideas and inspirations to spark your creative curiosities. This compendium is a compilation of Tim's thoughts and ideas to guide you through your own artistic adventures. In his own words, "I wanted this book to be different ... not your ordinary 'how to make' book, but rather 'how to create'. I believe everyone is truly creative whether they think it or not. It's all about embracing your imperfections and taking time to explore the imaginative. What you'll discover will be wonderful, what you'll discover will be yourself..."

This 77 page book is filled with ideas on all things idea-ology, plus just about every technique Tim could fit into it. The book is hard cover and metal spiral bound so it sits open flat on your table--which is a nice bonus for readers who will be covered in ink and embossing powder while trying out the different techniques.

The entire book is done in a vintage type scrapbook style, and almost looks like something you would get handed down by a family member. All photos are shown as though they are old and worn from age complete with rusty paperclips, old photo corners, vintage tape and even some tearing. The photos are so well done that the paperclips and tape almost look as if you touched them you could feel them.

The first section of the book serves as an index of Tim Holtz's specially branded products and their applications while the second half features a rewarding page after page resource full of the best techniques. Tim's techniques are simplified, in most cases, to six easy-to-understand steps with accompanying photos. Each page is full of Tim's favorite supplies, tips, techniques, and a gallery showing ideas of putting it all together...don't miss out!
