Colorplay Runner and Napkins Kit

Meridith Entingh started weaving in 2004 and shortly thereafter began to explore the world of color blending and treadling. She blended everything from analogous colors to triads and tetrads and treadled just about everything from classic crackle all the way to two-block lace. Soon enough, she had begun selling towels, placemats and runners with matching napkins. Her works made it into local boutiques where they caught the eyes of countless weavers! All of Meridith's projects are full of color and guaranteed to brighten dining rooms wherever they're found. With the Colorplay Runner and Napkins Kit, you too can explore color blending in 4-shaft crackle and make the cover project from the January/February issue of Handwoven. Enjoy!

Included in this kit:

  Bockens 22/2 Cottolin, #2001 White 1374 yd.
Yarn

Cottolin is a nice blend of 60% cotton and 40% linen --a little linen for high absorbency but enough cotton for some stretch in the warp. The resulting fabric is so easy to care for and can stand up to repeated washing.
