Chevron patterns seem tailor-made for handpainted yarns because they help jumble up the colors with their sharp diagonal lines. Instead of pairing increases and decreases in the same round, Jody Pirrello uses short rows to set up some mega-chevrons. The deep zigzags in these socks allow for longer rows and thus avoid pooling.Finished Size: About 7V (8W)" (19 cm) foot circumference and 8W (10)" (21 [25.5] cm) long from back of heel to tip of toe.
