Details

I'm known for borrowing from traditional wovens, such as plaid for my knit designs. Plus the criss-crossing segments of plaid are an opportunity to play with color composition. I wanted a show-stopping design to prove that the nylon fiber in MOSS and FERN make them light enough for a long garment.

Finished Size: X-Small (Small, Medium, Large, XL); Bust: 35 (39, 43, 47, 51)"/89 (99, 109, 119.5, 129.5)cm. Length: 43 (44, 45, 46, 46.5)"/109 (½, ¼.5, 117, 118)cm.
Yarn: Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham Moss (85% extrafine merino wool, 15% nylon; 163 yd [147m]/50g): #03 green 6 (6, 7, 7, 8) balls, #02 mocha 2 (3, 3, 4, 4,) and #08 black 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) balls; Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham Fern (70% wool, 30% nylon; 81 yd [73m]/50g): #02 khaki 6 (6, 7, 7, 8) balls, #04 mocha and #08 black 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) balls EACH, and #03 mustard and #05 dove grey 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) balls EACH.
Yarn weight: #6 Super Bulky
Gauge: 8 sts and 20 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Brioche st with 2 strands of Moss held together OR Fern using #11 needle.
Needles: Size 11 (8mm) circular, 29"/75cm long. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle, stitch holders and markers, J-10 (6mm) crochet hook, two leather-covered buckles in each of 2 sizes - 1 x 2.5"/2.5 x 6.5cm and 1 x 1.5"/2.5 x 4cm.
