Blissful Flowers Motif and Shawl Crochet Pattern
This product will be accessible from My Downloadable Products located in My Account after purchase.
Worked from the bottom up, a shawl is usually decreased on either side of the center and each side edge, to create a decreasing triangular shape. Convert the square motif into triangular motifs for the decrease section (thereby reducing additional motif edges for the next row of motifes) to achieve this design in motifs that join as you go. The motif is further converted to create a delicate and beautiful flower fringe. Once you are familiar with this technique, wouldn't it make a beautiful raglan pullover?
