  • You enjoy Beadwork and want to discover new beading projects
  • You love innovative beadwork and are ready to design pieces like “Beaded Peacock Feather,” “18th Century Russian Beaded Necklace,” and “Chopstick Toppers”
  • You want easy accessibility to beading advice, techniques, and projects all in a convenient format

With over 30 projects, travel through time and bring to life the past of Beadwork magazine’s rich history. From exploring cultural stitches to creating beautiful necklaces, advance your beading techniques by working with bead embroidery, metal clay, beadweaving, lampworking, and more. Each issue includes workshop lessons, columns devoted to sharing the most efficient tools in the industry, as well as the beads you need to start incorporating into your designs today.

Here’s what you’ll get in each issue:
Spring, 1998 –
Learn how to use metal clay in your designs so you can amp your beading style. Bead a brilliant Victorian Lamp Shade and explore the peyote stitch family by working stunning spiral ropes.

Summer, 1998 – Work through 8 projects that embellish your beadwork, such as the “18th Russian Beaded Necklace,” and practice your backstitch skills. Then, dive into beading history by learning South African Double-Faced Stitch.

Fall, 1998 – Get acquainted with bead embroidery and craft nature-inspired designs. Stitch up the “Elegant Knitted Bag,” to hold all your beading supplies and treasures!

Winter, 1998 – Branch out from seed beads and incorporate hemp into your jewelry pieces. Create fast and fun projects, such as the “Mandala Earrings,” and “Ugly Bead Rings,” and take your time with more challenging designs when you use the herringbone stitch.
