Traveling Knitter’s Sourcebook

Welcome to the Interweave Knits Traveling Knitter’s Sourcebook. It is divided into seven main categories—Yarn Shops; Fiber Festivals; Farms; Mills and Dye Studios; Camps, Retreats, and Workshops; Tours; Cyber-Travel; and Armchair Travel—and is a virtual Yellow Pages for knitters on the go. Use it as a guide when making travel plans or refer to it once you know where you’re headed. Either way, the information presented here is sure to put you in touch with the knitting community at your destination.

Using the sourcebook is simple: Just browse through the state you’re interested in and check out the listings. Entries within each state are organized alphabetically by city. An IK at the beginning of a yarn shop name indicates the shop sells Interweave Knits. Below the state categories are are links to Cyber-Travel, Armchair Travel, and Tours.

The Montana Association of Weavers and Spinners presents their 2002 Biennial Conference, "Three Bags Full" July 11-14, 2002 at the Ursuline Center in Great Falls, MT. The conference will feature fashion shows, competitions, and workshops and classes given by the following instructors: Judith McKenzie McCuin, Carol Leigh, Flo Hoppe, and Janet Szabo.
