#7 Gobelin Motifs, an openwork band using two strands of floss in an over-under motif
#8: Paired Herringbone, a herringbone stitch using two similar colors of thread to create an optical illusion
#9: Pattern Couching, make a diagonal couching design using gold thread and three colors of floss
#10: Lattice Couching, made by first laying a foundation band and then stitch a herringbone on top
#11: Alternating V Stitch, a “resting” band with an easy V motif
#12: Cloud Filling, sometimes called honeycomb stitch, traditional done with gold thread but adapted into fun threads and braids
#13: Couched Lines, a gold braid couched with floss around the Sampler for a nice finish
