Last Seen: On Promotional Cover of Knitscene

The Story: The temporary cover (at right) was used last spring for early promotion of the Knitscene special issue. Understandably, many customers expected the capelet pattern featured on the cover—Chanson en Crochet—to be in Knitscene. However, the pattern is from Wrap Style (Interweave Press, September 2005). As a service to our loyal readers, the complete pattern is available below.

Designer Mari Lynn Patrick works unusual crochet stitches in bands of lacy texture that fall gracefully over the shoulders.

This is a corrected version of the pattern that appears in Wrap Style by Pam Allen and Ann Budd.
