A fountain of knitting knowledge, they are an authoritative collection of creating knitted fabrics, from the simple to the intricate.

As a knitwear designer, The Harmony Guides have been my mentor, my support, and often my inspiration. Always to hand, they frequently solve the problem and always spark and idea! However, it’s often frustrating having to flick through pages of ribs, cables, woven, or Aran stitches, when you are just looking for a pretty lace or eyelet pattern, hoping to find more. This has certainly been my experience, and so I was delighted to be given the opportunity to edit this wonderful library of stitches into an easily accessible collection of distinctive stitch titles—your one-stop shop! – Editor Erika Knight
