Last fall Interweave Press welcomed the arrival of the new and improved Harmony Guides, a series offering clear, concise instructions and photographs for stitches, and popular references for handcrafters for more than thirty years. Designer Erika Knight, author of the Simple Knits series, helped in the series redesign, updating the guides with new stitches and know-how.
To celebrate their arrival, we sponsored The Harmony Guides Window Display contest, inviting yarn shops to create window displays creatively incorporating the books during the months of December 2007 or January 2008. Windows were judged on creativity, use of space, and incorporation of The Harmony Guides.
